For Day Programs

Day on the FarmLifetime of Growth

At Navarro Farm, we believe that meaningful work and hands-on experiences cultivate confidence, independence, and joy. Our Day Programs provide individuals with intellectual disabilities the opportunity to learn new skills, build friendships, and contribute to a fully operational farm—all in a supportive, Christ-centered environment.

What to Expect in Our Day Programs:

🌾 Farm Work & Agriculture – Participants engage in farm-related tasks such as planting, watering, weeding, and harvesting crops. These hands-on experiences teach responsibility, patience, and teamwork.

🐓 Animal Care – Farmers help feed, groom, and care for our chickens, goats, and other animals, fostering responsibility and strengthening their connection to nature.

🍳 Life Skills & Cooking – From farm to table, our participants learn the basics of meal preparation, kitchen safety, and nutrition using fresh ingredients they’ve helped grow.

🎨 Creative & Social Activities – Whether it’s art, music, storytelling, or teamwork exercises, our programs encourage self-expression, communication, and confidence.

💛 Community & Connection – Every day at Navarro Farm is an opportunity to connect. Farmers build friendships with peers, volunteers, and staff, finding a true sense of belonging.

Who Can Participate?

Our Day Programs are designed for individuals with intellectual disabilities who want to engage in meaningful, structured activities in a supportive environment. No prior farm experience is needed—just a willingness to learn, grow, and have fun!
